SBE and DVBE Status

Advanced Civil Group holds the status of a Small Business Enterprise and a Disabled Veteran Owned Business Enterprise.

Small Businesses recieve a 5% bid preference on applicable state solicitations. Add in the 3% bid preference for disabled veteran own enterprises and our bid prefence is 8%.

Additionally the state of California has a 3% DVBE participation rule in effect for government contracts. The goal applies to the total contract dollars expended each year by an awarding department. What is required is that the DVBEs must perform a commercially useful function related to the contract’s specifications. There is no question in our line of work of the commercial usefulness of our services.
